A Day of Encouragement and Support for Teenage Mothers
At Mercy Tides Foundation, we believe that meaningful change begins with compassion, presence, and practical support.
Recently, our Founder, Jonathan Magambo, spent time with teenage mothers and their families, creating an opportunity for conversation, bonding, encouragement, and hope. The interaction provided a safe space for the young mothers to share, connect, and be reminded that they are not alone in their journey.
Following the interaction, Mercy Tides Foundation provided food and essential supplies, including rice, posho, sugar, soft drinks, bar soap, and sanitary pads.
For many of the girls and their families, this support meant more than just receiving supplies. It meant having a meal to share with their children and siblings, while also receiving essential personal hygiene products.
The joy and gratitude expressed by the girls and their families reminded us that even a simple act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
We are grateful to our partners and supporters who continue to make initiatives like this possible. Together, we can continue walking alongside teenage mothers, restoring hope, and helping young families build a more secure future.
